Due to expansion, our Head Office is currently looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join the team. It is an exciting time for Crawfords as building works will shortly commence at our new site. Crawfords are having a new state of the art purpose built depot being built in Writtle, Chelmsford. The move from South Woodham Ferrers to Writtle will hopefully take place in approximately 11 months’ time.

Reporting directly to Wes Crawford and the growing sales team this is a very important and diverse role.

Working hours: 8am – 5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with customers and suppliers
  • Managing internet enquiries
  • Managing the sales order process from start to finish
  • Undertaking finance/stock audits supporting the external auditors
  • Compiling sales prospects
  • Booking sales trips and meetings
  • Supporting shows and open days
  • Booking in machines and inputting machine data from delivery notes
  • Maintaining the new and used vehicle stock lists
  • Assigning new road registrations to new vehicles
  • Managing the new/used vehicles, taxing, logbooks and insurance
  • Completing the warranty registration process and adding warranty extensions
  • Undertaking recruitment administration tasks

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Administrator or relevant role
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Proficient skills in Numeracy and English
  • An understanding of the agricultural industry would be beneficial but not essential
  • Must be able to cope under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience in HR would be desirable
