What should I wear to the Essex Young Farmers Show?Please check the weather forecast before the day and dress appropriately. The Essex Young Farmers Show is predominantly an outdoor event and includes large grassy areas. In the event of rain, wellies or suitable shoes are advisable. If it’s warm and sunny, please ensure you drink plenty of water and use sun block.

Is there mobility scooter hire this year?Yes! Advanced Mobility will be joining us and will be located outside the entrance to the main gates next to the disabled parking. Click the button below to book a scooter to use at the show.

Are dogs allowed on the showground?Yes, dogs are very welcome and allowed on site. They must be kept on a lead at all times and mess must be cleared up please. Water fountains are around the showground so you can refill their water bowls if needed.

Is there food available on the day?There will be a number of food and drink trucks dotted around the showground, also don’t forget to check out our “Festival of Food” with a variety of yummy food stalls and locally produced products. There will also be Tea Room run by Young Farmers with homemade cakes and of course a licensed Bar.

Can I leave the Show and come back?Visitors may leave the show or return to their car and come back. They must obtain a stamp by the stewards at the gates.

Who organises the Essex Young Farmers Show?The Essex Young Farmers Show is run and managed by the members of Essex Young farmers, a registered charity which exists to promote agriculture and to advance education in agriculture, animal husbandry, horticulture and forestry to our members and wider audience.

What time does the show start?Gates open for the Essex Young Farmers Show at 9:30am

When is the Essex Young Farmers Show 2025?The Essex Young Farmers Show will take place on Sunday 18th May 2025.

Are there toilets on site?Toilets, including disabled access, are located in multiple locations around the showground. They are clearly signposted and marked on the maps. Alternatively, ask any Steward for directions.

Is there free parking?Yes there is ample free parking available on-site, please note car parks can be uneven in places as all parking is on grass

Is there disabled parking available?Yes. Forward Parking for all Blue Badge holders is available. Please show your Blue Badge to a Parking Attendant who will direct you to the closest space available to the show ground.
