Festival of Food
Fancy something special? Want to sample a range of local foods? Then come along and see us at the Festival of Food, where you will be able to smell, taste and purchase a wider variety of food than ever. We have amalgamated what has in the past been two separate areas – The Food Hall and the Farmers Market.
This brings together the very best food available under one roof! Free Range, Local, Seasonal, Fresh, Organic, Sustainable…. you always hear about it in a society that is becoming increasingly interested in where and how our food is produced, now come and see it! You will be welcomed by a huge range of fine food and drink, from pork pies to olives, yogurts and cheeses, cider and cakes, cookware, seafood and much, much more.
We have a strong local feel at this year’s Festival of Food with the majority of producers coming from the East of England. We are pleased to be welcoming producers that exhibited in last year’s show but will also be welcoming many new stands, which we feel will really add to the selection we have to offer.
Chat to the producers who take enormous pride in their products and will be happy to tell you about them. Find out how and where they were made and what is required to make them, and leave having knowledge of the food you’ve bought to eat. From the scent of freshly baked bread to the taste of a hand raised pork pie washed down with a pint of local brew, you won’t be disappointed.
